Zero Waste Wool Blanket – Mystery Color & Texture

Introducing the Faribault Mill Zero Waste Wool Blanket – Mystery Color & Texture: A Testament to Sustainability.

For over a century, Faribault Mill has been crafting world-class wool blankets. Occasionally, when a specific pattern or color is retired, we are left with small batches of high-quality yarn—too much to waste, but not enough for a full standard production run.

Instead of letting these premium fibers go to the landfill, we give them a new life. We return them to the loom to create our Zero Waste Mystery Blanket. Available at an accessible price point, these twin-sized utility blankets are built for the real world. You don’t choose the color; the loom chooses for you. The result is a durable, no-nonsense wool blanket featuring a dense, durable weave designed for the elements. Whether it’s tucked in the trunk for emergencies or spread out for a rugged lakeside picnic, this blanket is built to handle the dirt and the wind for generations to come.

The Surprise: A mystery solid color and weave detail—let the loom decide.

The Mission: 100% recycled from our own mill’s leftover yarn.

The Use: Best for cars, trucks, camping, and picnics. (Due to the rugged utility weave, we do not recommend these for bedding).
